Pronto Block Print on paper. This artwork was inspired by the National Flower of Palestine, Poppy flowers or “Anemone coronaria”. Poppy flowers that grow in all fields in Palestine and when it blooms they resemble all the same colors as our flag. Poppy flowers have always represented the relationship between Palestinians and their land, the bloodshed they have endured, as well as their resistance against Israeli occupation.
